The industry must come forward and the breed must regain the respect and admiration it has lost over years.
I've been hunting for info about him..saw him race at Keeneland last Fall in that downpour...he ran a darn good race...I still believe he's got talent and hope to see him back to have a good career at some point...no known breezes for awhile
Mike..I saw Smarty's Echo at Keeneland last Fall..really impressed with that 2nd place in the downpour..pretty sure I was the only one where I was standing that put money on him...I still think he's got the talent..hope he'll be back soon

It looked horrible and she went down so hard and then looked in agony after getting up...I was pretty sure she had broken a leg......this never gets easy and my regrets to the owners,trainers, and all who worked with her...I am sure she was loved
So very sorry for your loss today....she looked so good in the race....how tragic for all...prayers for owners and trainer and all.....nothing worse than this

I remember the first time I saw him race and I sent a text to my brother as I knew he was watching. that text just said "Watch Game on Dude in the back. He didn't disappoint then and he steps up and gives his best still.I was standing in front of the rail at the 2011 BC when he and his lady almost made history..I really felt for her and for the Dude...it was one I'll not soon forget!
