The most pysically stunning filly/mare I've ever seen in person...such a champion!
Beholder looks great!
I love this filly and her connections are all class.
I agree with you Brian. Not only would the distance be better for a sprint, it would also give the added element of being able to compare times in both the spring and f&m sprint which everyone loves to be able to do.
She's had an incredible year. I hope they decide to run her again, I'd love to see her conquer at the Breeders' Cup and face Royal Delta.
Orb looks like he's coming in fresh, fit and ready to run back to form. I'm still going with Palace Malice for the win, but I think Orb is going to be a bigger factor than Verrazano. This is such an awesome lineup.
I love that you included Indian Blessing, she is very deserving and a great filly! I definitely consider Rags to Riches a great filly as well and kudos for including her on the list despite having a shorter career. I think Blind Luck deserves to be higher up, above Ashado and Ginger Punch and I personaly rank her higher than Royal Delta (just a personal preference and I thinks she could have beat her on their best days). Great List, and of course the great Rachel Alexandra rules!!
Well it looks like they're heading towards the Woodward and I'm betting they're thinking of the Classic if he wins or performs really well there. I love a strong front-runner so I'm rooting for him all the way. It would be fantastic to see him at Belmont in the JCGC.
You have voiced my sentiments exactly Brian...great post! I think Verrazano is a very classic colt and exciting, but Palace Malice and Orb are still stronger runners in my opinion. I can't wait for the Travers Stakes now.
