Rapid Redux won't win a traditional Eclipse award, but I'm hoping he wins the Von Populi Award, which will be voted on by the people next month.
Baffert is more hands on and is better able to figure out his 'trouble' horses, there by enabling them to reach their true potential. If Baffert's stable was as large at Pletcher's, his numbers would be far superior, but he prefers to stay small enough to give each horse the individual attention they need. I'd much prefer to have my horse in a barn like Baffert's.
As far as I know, the Lady's Secret is not being renamed to the Zenyatta Stakes.
I'd love to see any race that features Havre de Grace or Blind Luck going against the boys. Hopefully I'll get to see BL in the PC at the end of the month. Would love to be able to see this race in person the following weekend, if it happens, but I won't be able to.
