Getting dirt kicked into you is a minor issue compared to fracturing a seasmoid bone or slamming into another horse. It is simply an obstacle of being a closer, which is what he is. I would be unused to seeing him race at the front, similar to Flat Out.
Don't know him.
Dance With Fate was not mentioned in the article that talks about Danza pulling out of the Belmont even though his rainer tweeted he will run. What is the update on him?
Who rode Social Inclusion in the Preakness?
Why did someone change the silk colors on this horse's page?
On the bright side, Midnight Hawk could go to the Belmont instead of the Derby or Preakness and be the early pacemaker. That way, if a horse has a shot to win the Triple Crown, he'll have at least one horse to save ground against.
I like this horse, especially for the Derby because it looks like so many horses are going to the Derby wiith front-ruuing styles, so I don't care if his last win didn't look impressive. If more than half the field races like they need to be on the pace early, there's gonna be a wild wild pace that may benefit "Artie" a lot when the stretch run comes.
