Were Orb's FL Derby #'s impressive?

I'm with you on this colt. His last was impressive even though not a win. If he turns back the field in the Arkansas Derby with the same type of trip, I think he & Gemologist will have done enough to warrant some serious consideration for that mile and a quarter rodeo in May.

Down the stretch of the 1 mile and a furlong Illinois Derby and it appeared no one had any gas left in the tank except Done Talking as he passed some boys who really didn't need that last 1/16th of a mile. No Kentucky Derby winner out of this bunch. Just sayin'.

When they look a closer in the eye and fire the way he did, especially on the Aqueduct surface, that tells you we now have a real contender. He can bring it.
