After having early lead, faded to finish last. Maybe he just needed this race. Hope he's ok & look forward to seeing him in the future.
In his 1st start since last August, he'll be running Saturday at Oaklawn in the Gazebo Stakes. I'm looking forward to seeing it!
Quite the impressive win in the pouring rain Sunday in the East View!
His come-from-behind win yesterday (Nov. 23) @ Golden Gate was really impressive! He's only 2 for 2, but I think he has a promising future.
I think, with a better trip, Animal Kingdom would have won the BC Mile. Not to take away from the fine performance of Wise Dan, but look how much ground Animal Kingdom closed on him in the final jumps. 2013, providing & hoping they stay healthy, could be very interesting - Animal Kingdom vs. Royal Delta in the BC Classic!
Watching him win the Gold Rush Futurity was like watching Questing win the Alabama!! With Giant's Causeway & Elusive Quality in his pedigree, he should be able to handle distances. Can't wait to see him as a 3 year old!!
