About me/racing interests:
I've been studying Thoroughbred pedigree theory for over 10 years and I enjoy working with Horse Racing Nation as their Pedigree Analyst. Besides upkeep of my website and blog, I've written for TwinSpires Blog, Today's Racing Digest, Tracksideview.com and international websites. I’m the author of “Guide to Freshmen Sires” a yearly analysis of expectations for the progeny of new sires. I also author yearly guides that take an in depth look at the Triple Crown entrants, examining pedigree, running style and surface preferences. I'm also the S. Florida Coordinator for ThoroFan.

How did I get into racing?
Everyone has a favorite Uncle who loves racing! Mine taught me to read PP's as a child since he had trouble reading the fine print. In my teens and early 20's, I was a hotwalker and exercise rider at Calder, Gulfstream and Hialeah. I became interested in pedigree when the offspring of my favorite horses started to race.

Favorite racing moment?
Watching Princess Rooney win her debut, Slew at Hialeah, The Bid at Gulfstream; Genuine Risk's Derby; Secretariat's Belmont; Affirmed over Alydar in the Belmont; Cashing a ticket on Giacomo/Closing Argument in the '05 Derby & Mine That Bird in '09.
