3-time Horse of the Year. 4-time Outstanding Older Horse. Champion sprinter. Won the 1974 Carter at 7 furlongs and then reeled back to win the 2-mile Brooklyn. Let's see Barbaro or Zenyatta do that. Let's see them carry 130 plus. Give me a break with Zenyatta and Barbaro being ahead of one of the true legends of the sport.
What I want to know is how the hell is Barbaro, a horse that won ONE big race, ranked ahead of Forego all-time? Stop voting with your sentamentality and start looking at this list objectively. Otherwise, any true racing fan who looks at this list will just laugh.
An absolute abomination that Zenyatta is ranked ahead of Forego. Imagine Zenyatta winning both champion sprinter and handicapper in the same year. Key word: imagine. Forego deserves a place in at least the Top 10.
