He was awesome on Sunday! According to DRF, he's going to race at Belmont next in either the Woody Stephens or Easy Goer.
I can't wait to see him at Oaklawn this weekend!!
He looks AMAZING here in Texas :) I attached a couple of photos
She's 4 for 4, a multiple stakes winner, and should be on the undefeated watch :)
He's hurt... Sigh.
I love this story :) part of why I want to be a vet...... I want to change their lives, one at a time. Horse racing has beauty in its individuality- the horse is a conscious being, and worthy of protection as long as we're using them.
Yes, I'm having a great time in the program.
Wow, there's some negative Nancys in the comments.... When did I say anything about crazy dreams? It'd be nice to be able to eliminate on-track injuries, but that's impossible at the moment... And I quite frankly do not give a damn about the wagering aspect of racing. Yes, I enjoy it, and acknowledge it as a necessity in the sport, but racing for me is all about the horses and how to better equip them to run swiftly and safely. Horses need vet care to be in any way fit to race. I'm not having crazy dreams of being a vet, I'm aware of the education and time required, and I am on the right track for it thus far.
She hasn't worked in about a month. I really, really hope she gets a nice break and comes back at Lone Star in the spring, but that's asking a bit much. I'm more intrigued by her half sister, who hasn't been heard from since breaking her maiden nicely in June or July of this summer.
