Be sure to factor in the track bias at Pimlico. I'm not concerned with the turf races, however, I certainly will have a keen eye on all the prior dirt races/results leading up to the Preakness. No reason to dismiss Pimlico's track bias in the past few weeks. It could cost you just when you think you are on top of your game.
I agree with your comments Sullivan. Big, strong, muscular and held in reserve. That's it in a nutshell!
Governor Charlie has a great shot here. Lightly raced and well rested for this race. Yes, he can make the distance and yes, his pedigree has the proven speed. There's no reason to not include this horse in 2nd. I don't think he can beat Orb, but I do think he can bring in a couple of bucks for you.
I knew she'd pass the line first. I told everyone and then of course, the odds trimmed, and I settle for Revolutionary. And then, what happens, I go back to my ORB with better odds at the last 3 minutes and TVG freezes. Fortunately, Xpressbet pulled through. What a day to test wagering. This should be a wake up call the the CFO's of these conglomerates.
And Palace Malace will be wearing Blinkers! That's how I won with Ruler on Ice in the Belmont Stakes. Slop and blinkers.
I almost fell off my chair. I wagered a futures on her and it paid 19-1. Yeah, I know, the odds were better today. But hey when your up in this sport, you take the action while your ahead. Plenty for tomorrow now. Whew!
I see there's a bunch of comediens here. I have a sense of humor. It's cool. Not the founder of dish networks, but I do my homework in this sport and not afraid to dish it out! And by the way, I'm also a great cook!
So many factors will play into this race - conditions, speed, stamina, pedigree, post positions, jockey, etc. The one factor to avoid, is being brainwashed by all the info in the morning paper. It's enough to change your mind, and play someone else's card. Do your handicapping yourself and stick to your pick. Good luck!
Game on Dude deservingly won his race, but Clubhouse Ride was also a star and a horse I'll be watching. For now, I hope this horse gets some time off before his next big race. He's got alot in him and needs to get out of that 2nd place rut. Great race.
Clubhouse Ride placed 2nd to Game on Dude in his last 2 starts. This horse is the one to watch. He's due a big win and it just may be this at a nice price.
