I have a friend who is a former trainer and he clued me in as to how well Rosario got along with the horse even before his first ride so I bet him nicely his last run. As to the shipping he doesn't feel it will have any effect on this horse as his problem before was injuries and Rosie who I really like just wasn't strong enough to handle him. Rosario on the other hand has the legendary strength of Laffit Pincay who had a physique like the hulk.I forgot to ask you if you use air resistance ratios in your handicapping? I realize the pro's and con's but feel the good out weight the bad.

I'd Love to see Alpha put on a show, but all the signs point against it. They didn't move him out with enough time to adjust to the new track/setting.

I want to see how the "horse for the course theory" works out. Is it really the track surface or that the horse is in a known comfort zone. Could it be a combination which includes injuries and form? In any case at belmont park I'd get about 5/2 on Flat Out in this field, here I should get 7/1 at SA. I always prefer higher odds as I've hit 30-40 to one shots on occassion so the betting public doesn't influence my wagers (however knowledgable people do). Hopefully the above mentioned factors will come into play to give me those odds on a horse I feel lays over this field by open lengths when healthy and in form. Right now he seems to have both. A loss will further validate the theory a win will put a dent in it as further horses have to be watched to really make a determination. With the realization that anything can and does happen in a horse race my play will be FO, FL, MMM, GOD, in a trifecta box x5 and a super x1. Then I'll narrow it down to exacta's with the above 4 horses with Flat Out up and down with a primary 3/1 ratio. RTG and THAS just haven't shown their as good as the others combined with their inconsistancy I'm going to toss them.Flat Out odds permitting will get my primary W/P bet. PS, If I lose so be it, at least I play the game. I'm not rich and I have to watch my outlay as much as anyone else so I bet only what I can comfortably afford to lose and, GL TO ALL and have a great time as that's what it's really about.
