I have always liked you cool calm demeanor LJ. Yes I am a fan and maybe one of a handful that have continued to follow you even once you went "underground" for a long period. I was glad to see the workout reports resurface. Lord Justice you were a sight for sore eyes on Saturday...You looked good against those younger horses. Stay safe and thank you Adena for taking good care of "my boy" LJ.
RIP Giant Ryan- My sympathies to the connections of Giant Ryan. He will be missed.
Get well soon Hansen- Look forward to seeing you in the Iowa Derby June 30- Big/Bold/Beautiful
AnnaK you read my mind. Yes, I was a Secretariat fan. It was hard to see Seattle Slew being so disrespected when he was racing and seeing that he is still disrespected by many. Slew is MY all time favorite because he was and seems to still be the "underdog". He had heart..boy did he have heart. He could look right through you as if to say - move out of my way, I'll show you what I'm made of. Yes, Secretariat was great, but Slew had something special. I do get chills when I watch Secretariat footage....I get bigger chills when I watch footage of Seattle Slew and his son Swale. They even had the nerve to ask" Seattle Who?" on T shirts and signs during Slew's Triple Crown campaign. I never jumped ship....Seattle Slew- I salute you... For the most part your "greatness" was conceded/recognized AFTER your death. Even in your final days you were disrepected and moved to Hill N Dale....His bloodline speaks volumes--I repeat VOLUMES....RIP Seattle Slew-I will remain a fan forever.
I'm a fan no matter what-Hansen..just stay BIG/BOLD/BEAUTIFUL-
$10 bucks for bragging rights is a bargain.......
