I think the proof is there that 2-year-olds should not be racing. New Year's Day is retired at 2, Bayern is hurt, and so is Top Billing. I think that is proof enough that horses should not be on the track so early.
I'm glad to see my horse at #2. Now don't take this from "The Horse's Mouth", but Gary's folks say he actually favors Candy Boy. We shall see.
OK, bad day for me....but there is always tomorrow:)
Thank you, Brian for explaining your picks. Now, I completely understand, and I will be using them.
Mediocre field, two that really ran lousy and need a lot of gate works, and the only thing that helped was Stevens aborard. He won't have Gary in the Derby for sure, and I'm staying not impressed.
I need to see him beat something a lot better then he did to even consider him in the Derby.
I really hope Gary chooses Candy Boy for his ride in the Derby.
It looks like Gary will have a decision to make for the Derby, Bayern or Candy Boy....
Really good horse, but then again he had a fabulous jockey:)
I agree with Candy Boy being in the #1 spot, but I don't agree on some of your picks. I don't think Vicar's In Trouble will ever get the distances. I don't have Chitu on my list at all. I guess that is what handicapping is all about though.
