One hit wonder... I cant see him improving at all. He went to Belmont fresh and won ahead of a horse that had a bad foot and had ran 2 long previous races. I don't see much to spark an interest with this horse. Just my opinion.
Shared Belief didn't win against anybody impressive. This was just another win. Until he races against some of the other top horses (Wicked Strong, Bayern, etc...) then I doubt this horse by a lot. Especially if he hasn't raced against California Chrome yet, I highly doubt he will beat CC and come Breeders Cup, I think CC will make up for his Belmont 4th place loss. He is a monster and Shared Belief plays it safe.
She has proved she is a top filly :)
Wow, what a pedigree, how come this filly isn't racing? Was she injured or something?
Both are amazing horses, Chrome is a strong player and he came 4th in the Belmont which is a pretty long race. He won Preakness and KD, I don't think he will have a problem in this race. If he wins he will get HOTY (most likely) and if he doesn't than Palace Malice is in the running for HOTY. I honestly believe CC deserves it more than PM, he has run more races than him this year and PM came 6th in his last race running the same distance he has ran before. Will Take Charge is a very tough horse to beat due to his ability to come from a middle position and go wide in the field and come to 2nd and 3rd places with ease. I personally love both horses a lot, both are my favorites next to Cairo Prince and I don't mind either winning, I just feel CC deserves the win in order to make HOTY. WTC just deserves a win considering he came 2nd in last years BC.
Kiaran McLaughlin emailed me and stated that Cairo Prince will likely not be racing until next year. He had minor problems after surgery and he is beginning light training. Glad to see he isn't being pushed! Kiaran is an awesome trainer, extremely happy Jess's Dream got him!
Who is Lan? I never heard of that trainer *rolls up sleeves* about to dig around and do some research. >:)
Jess is a feisty one lol He is beautiful though and he ran great in the video, very powerful runner
So happy Kiaran got him and not Steve A. I really think Kiaran is a top-notch trainer and not to mention he works for Godolphin which is a major TB business. I think J.D. is in really good hands. Beautiful colt.
