Love Skip Away was the best Gray in my time too! I also put Skip Away as one of the top horses in my book. He didn't win any of the triple crown races but was one of the most loved horses in the racing world during his era. Truly a special horse with so many fan and new fans alike!
All I know is that Uncle Mo didn't seem his calm cool self as he normally does now weather the GI tract infection effected him that much not sure but you can relate his preformance other then I know I would not want to run if my stomach was bothering me. The whole race he didn't see like his normal self
The Ramsey are really nice people and I am very happy for them they are great people in both racing worlds!
I watched this horse a few times I am happy to see a offspring of Skip Away has won an Eclipse award. He looks like his sire but larger wonderful looking horse
