I believe if he breaks clean, and gets to the front without troubles, he will win! This is my hope for him!!

Shackleford is the single reason for my new found interest in horse racing. I will miss watching him very much. I can watch his Preakness win and his CH Stakes win over and over! I was so very disappointed when he stumbled out of the gate in the BCDM.

Floridaf, thanks for the insight. So, to be sure would one email Dale Romans racing, or Santa Anita park? Honestly, seeing Shackleford is 75% of the reason we'd fly down there. Again,thanks for you insight, im still new to the sport!

I dont know what it is about this horse, but i just love em! Does it seem plausible that he will run the Dirt Mile at the BC? Great that its on the west coast this year. I will ask again, as i did once before. Can a person visit him up close at all during, say, BC weekend? How cool would that be?!!
