n't see anything wrong with him winning older male. I was only partly joking about the E part because he does seem to lay down when facing the elite horsees in his division. I won't say what bets I did make but it should suffice to say that I was trying to beat the favorites early on Saturday and didn't have any Georges left to bet later in the day.
Tmallios, Contrary to popular belief I didn't bet the Dude all year. Also, I harbor no ill will toward the Dude or is it Dud? JK Truthfully he has been dominant all year and I don
Out of the entire TVG panel only Donna Barton Brothers is giving groupie doll a chance. Shocking that all of the others would dismiss her so easily. She is still GROUPIE DOLL.
Spaces after commas and periods would be nice.
Vic is right. I probably should've said very good, not great. I also shouldn't have put the Doll in front of Royal Delta. Royal Delta still deserves her place at the top.
Princess of Sylmar is a monster, and I was basing my opinion on GD's Career not her schedule this year. Also, POS has beat two marginally weak fields to earn 2 of her 3 grade 1 victories this year. If I were ranking them on this year alone, abviously I would put her in front of Groupie Doll. It's just hard for me to put POS in front of a champion and 8 time graded stakes winner.
Royal delta and Groupie Doll probably deserve to be in front of Princess of Sylmar based solely on their accomplishments. Good picks and I agree with the others.
Tmalios1, I totally agree. If Groupie Doll keeps improving and runs her A race then there's not another horse that has the capability of beating the champ. 7F is her favorite distance so even with a bad post or trip she should have time to make up the ground and I expect her to be in top form for the BC. She obviously loves the track and her trainer seems very pleased wtih the way she's progressing after a 9 month layoff.
Credit to all of you who thought she would win. I was thinking she may need one more race to get into racing shape. She is obviously improving and should be in top form for the Breeders Cup.
Welcome back Groupie Doll! I guess she just needed a race under her belt.
