About me/racing interests:
Horse racing is my passion. Everything about it, from the exquisite equine athletes to the wondrously brave jockeys to the average track degenerate. Santa Anita Park is my home track, and I am there as often as possible. Horse racing has a rich history in America and I enjoy researching and writing about it and promoting this great sport as much as I can.

How did I get into racing?
My husband took me to Santa Anita in 2005, where I watched Jose Valdivia Jr. ride Antifreezette to a sold victory. That was my first ever wager on a thoroughbred and I have been hooked since. We are now at the track as often as possible, taking photos and covering stories for our website, upinclass.com.

Favorite racing moment?
It happened on January 1st, 2012... my very first superfecta! The 6th race at Santa Anita, I boxed the 4,5,9, & 10... official running order - 10,5,9,4. It was fabulous!
