He is entered June 9 at Belmont in a 7furlong race, I think Grade II, I miss him too and hope all is going well in his barn. My fave!
I remember one of Acclamations with Pat where he went to the front and then turned down the pace so effectively while keeping the pack at bay. Acclamation is great but i thought that one was an exceptional ride.
No, not me. I have no idea who that one or horsepicker either is but i appreciate you telling me how to get to site. I just didn't like the way he holds his neck and head when hes pulled so hard.
Tapit could certainly add some early speed and enormous beauty.
Remarks about horses not entered are discouraged.
Wonderful work. Thank you, Sharla will check the blogspot. These wonderful animals can help people as we help them.
Thank you, Mary and Dr. Hansen for the post. Mary, I know your fave is CC so since Hansen skipping the Preakness I will be for him. I saw Hansen, UR, and CC race at Breeders Cup and all were "something else". I think some other horses were in that race or at least on the same track. Mary, where did you get the pval info? I try to read everything I can about Hansen just as you do about CC. I am also a big Acclamation fan as in 2011 HOY. I admit watching the derby that when i could see the muscles on the jock's forearms standing out my heart really hurt for Hansen. I missed a lot of the post parade fixing mint juleps so did not know that Hansesn was so worked up before the race. I bet poor Hansen's head and mouth did hurt. It was an awful hard hold/pull. The boy is tempermental but intelligent and not mean.
Not at all nice especially since he isn't entered.
You are right! It did get tougher.
Love to the beautiful grey and his veterinary team. 5 would be way, way too young to lose him.
