This is very nice, but I don't think El Padrino will make it into the field though. Very unfortunate.

I don't think you can compare a horse's racing schedule from nearly a century ago to today's racing. Hero of Order was just lucky winning the Louisiana Derby.

Does anyone know the names of the dead horses?

It would be nice if both Game On Dude and Royal Delta could stay off Lasix but right now I think it will hurt their chances of winning. I'm not saying that I'm not rooting fort the American horses but usually horses don't perform at their best without Lasix once they have gotten used to Lasix when they run.

Who would you think would be apart of the 1st level horse group. I just want your opinion.

He had an amazing run but I think people have been putting these horses in the Top 100 because of their familiarity.

Even before the Fountain of Youth I knew Discreet Dancer wasn't a stakes horse and didn't belong in that group of horses.

Especially some great three year olds are leaving the Derby Trail, a Triple Crown is wide open.

One could only hope....

Her trainer did say that he didn't expect her to win, but it was just a prep for something to build off of.
