I was talking more about the 11 horses that have been put down. Being in a Grade 1 race, this career ending injury is just more visible.

How many horses have to get hurt or be put down before they do something about Santa Anita's new surface?

I don’t know anything except she has had a very sketchy reported work pattern lately. 12/31/10-1:04.0 1/19/11 51.0 2/16/11 37.4 My guess is she has some sort of nagging type issue that is preventing more frequent works that will be necessary to get her back in racing shape.

Mark, nice interview, but the horse at the end of the video has a white star that I don't believe TD has.
