About me/racing interests:
Annual Kentucky Derby blogging since 1997. Formed Saturday Racing Stable LLC in 2010 with a dozen new owners. Two 2YOs and a 3YO filly currently in training with Bret Calhoun.

How did I get into racing?
Father owned horses when I was a teen and my siblings helped sneak me into Oaklawn when I was 10. Hit a pick 6 at Louisiana Downs at age 16.

Favorite racing moment?
Zenyatta prancing for Oaklawn fans after 2010 Apple Blossom, Cigar beating Silver Goblin in Oaklawn Handicap, 2004 Smarty Jones phenomenon, Afleet Alex in Arkansas Derby, Pine Bluff and Lil E Tee rivalry, Azeri running down Take Charge Lady for 3rd Apple Blossom - all at Oaklawn Park.
