What the Horse Racing Nation is saying about the Forego...

No matter what happens in today’s Grade 1 Vosburgh, Saginaw cannot be replaced. Claimed by David Jacobson and Drawing Away Stable for $30,000 in March of 2012, he became the one horse that none in the group can ever forget. The gelded son of Peruvian was a winning machine. Ten times in 2012, and fiv...Read More

It bothers me that anyone would send bad words to Bobby after loosing the love of his life in the horse world. Sags was his horse but also a beloved Pet. Strapping Groom was amazing ! Lea, second in the Grade 2 Firecracker Handicap and third in the Grade 2 Fourstardave Handicap behind reigning Horse of the Year Wise Dan in his two most recent starts, will switch to dirt for the Grade 1, $500,000 Forego on Saturday, trainer Al Stall said on Monday. Read More

In my opinion, there is one “utility player” currently in training today that stands head and shoulders above his peers. The only horse to win a graded stakes race at both six and nine furlongs in 2012 was Caixa Eletronica. Read More

  • ashley.tamulonis · His Charles Town Classic win shocked me. When handicapping that race, I threw him out because I considered him to be more of a sprinter. Boy was I wrong! · 409 days ago ·

  • Buckpasser · I've always liked this horse. We called them useful horses who raced a long time gave their all no matter what and many times if the circumstances were right could win the big one. Pity is that there are not enough of these guys racing. · 409 days ago ·

Another big day at Saratoga has me busy at work creating more multi-race tickets, a betting strategy that has been more than good to me in 2012. While some of the best races of today’s Woodward card are not part of the late Pick 4, you can do what I’ll be doing by taking advantage of a Pick 3 offeri...Read More

  • Averie Elizabeth · I believe Shack is going to do very well. I have one of those feelings that he's going to do good. His two starts at Saratoga are bad examples to base a theory that he doesn't like the track. The Travers was a race a couple furlongs too long for him and he was much less developed as a racehorse. This year he's a completely different horse and all the year better. In the Vanderbilt he couldn't handle the mud. He's not a mud horse and he has always performed far lesser his best when it comes to off tracks. This weekend it's not supposed to rain and it's a comfortable distance for him. I believe he can overtake all of the horses in the rest of the field. Emcee in my opinion is going to be his biggest competitior but he's more of a six furlong horse. As for Jackson Bend he always has a good chance but he's not nearly the horse he used to be. I think Shackleford is going to do fairly well this weekend and i wish him the best of luck and a safe trip from his biggest fan. · 594 days ago ·
