MichaelPavelick · This colt stepped up out of Maiden victory in less then 3 weeks, & captured the SA derby. Ever since Baffert has taken a cautious, concerned approach. With no grass workouts leading up to race, have to figure this race is just his first workout on the grass. Don't believe Baffert even asked this colt to seriously make a run in the Kentucky derby or Preakness. Like his patient approach. MichaelPavelick · This horse when competing against 3 year olds doesn't need to improve. He did and extraordinary thing jumping froma maiden victory in less the 3 weeks to capture SA derby. Bafferts kept the colt racing active since, but is nurturing this April foal alnong with great care. Everything is fine, and he will return to form, when Baffert decides what surface to let him roll again. · 707 days ago ·
