ajump08 · I liked Summer Soiree's preformance, but she hasn't proven herself against the Kathmanblu's of this year's pretty stong, evenly matched Oaks line-up. I thought her win was more impressive than any others this weekend, but the Gulfstream Park Oaks, Ashland, and Fantasy run in the next 2 weeks will answer a lot of questions on the Oaks trail. It's Trick and R Heat Lightening meet @ Gulfstream, Dancinginherdreams and Kathmanblu meet @ Keeneland, and Joyful Victory may have the Fantasy all to herself, and oh yah, Zazu is taking the long break approach it seems taking the two month break from Santa Anita Oaks to Kentucky Oaks. · 814 days ago ·

mikemoss13 · Now, to change the topic, let's talk about Arienza. I'm impressed that her connections decided to scratch out of the Prima Donna at 6 furlongs to run in the mile allowance last Sunday. She handled the off track with ease, and the distance was easy for her as well. She's run on two lazy Sunday afternoons here at Oaklawn, it'll be quite a step up to run in the Fantasy against some likely quality horses, AND a crowd of 20,000+. Will the crowd and noise bother her? As her confidence builds, so will mine. She is for real. · 814 days ago ·
