  • AndyScoggin · It was quite a meeting at Gulfstream. Seven likely Derby starters ran well at Gulfstream: Hansen, Union Rags, Dullahan, Gemologist, Take Charge Indy, Trinniberg, and Went the Day Well. · 30 days ago ·

  • Floridaf · Horse of the Meet is now officially included! Matt, it was a great meet, and I was fortunate enough to see both the Swale and the Gulfstream Park Handicap. Later this week I will likely have a piece up on the Derby chances of the seven colts you named. · 29 days ago ·

  • ruffian751 · @tim - I'm sorry, but if we don't put the copyright notice, those images will get screen-grabbed and used all over the place. It is unfortunate we have to do it, especially for the fans. But, there are actually website that make money, even farms, who have lifted images they had more than enough money to pay for. Again, I wish the situation were otherwise. Hope you still enjoy the images. · 58 days ago ·

  • Eclipse First · Nice race from both HG and Dullahan, thinking we might see a reversal of result @ Keeneland...Dullahan startin' to remind me a bit of Paddy O'Prado--and that is a GOOD thing. · 79 days ago ·

  • El Kabong · That was a great race. Dullahan will prevail next out but I wouldn't mind one bit if he didn't. We know he's fine one dirt and he looks to have put on good muscle and speed. Despite the fast fractions, he was much closer to the front end this time and Kent had him make a dirt move on that turn. Very good practice. And those 11+ he posted in the last 3 furlongs coming home were most impresseive. I really liked what I saw from Dullahan given this was his first back. I'm all aboard his ride to Kentucky if he gets a good trip in the Bluegrass and hits the board, and I'm sure he will. Most improved horse from last year that I've seen so far. · 78 days ago ·

It is not often that I choose to remember a horse so soon after his retirement, but the news that Paddy O' Prado's racing career had come to an end hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday. No bute, no Lasix, no respect! PALM BEACH   Dale Romans (trainer, Paddy O’Prado, 1st) - I’ve always thought a lot of him. He’s never had a clean trip in any of his races, but once he’s gotten clear, he’s always come running at the end. He’s run against some nice horses. I didn’t have any problem running him in here as a maid...Read More
Veteran horseman Dale Romans will not often be found running a maiden in a Graded stakes with a six-figure purse, but will do just that Saturday when he sends out Donegal Racing’s 3-year-old Paddy O’Prado in the $150,000 Palm Beach Stakes (G3) at Gulfstream Park. “He is very talented.
