  • Horseracingirl · I really love Union Rags. I like Hasen, but yesterday, Majestic City (my fav!) ran the same distance 3 seconds faster then Hansen. He is visually impressive, but I'm not impressed by his times. · 1003 days ago ·

  • Winplacsho · Of the 3 I would slightly lean toward Union Rags over Creative Cause because he looked so visually impressive despite all the traffic trouble. I think the book is still out on Hansen. Its good that he's been 2 turns, but he's never been on dirt & who knows what type of horses he was beating. · 1002 days ago ·

  • keeneland dan · Good Points, I like Royal Delta to win the race, and to wear down Plum Pretty in the stretch. Also Drill is one of a few that can win the 2yr old race. West coast horses did not do so well last yr other then the dirt mile fluke which I took all so I was happy. Baffert horses this yr besides Drill dont look to promising. · 1003 days ago ·

Zenyatta ran down a game Switch to win the Grade 1 Lady's Secret at Hollywood Park on Saturday. Read More

  • medlocke · To start with, Switch is not just an ordinary filly that Zenyatta so often gets accused of racing. I think most people consider Blind Luck one of, it not the best 3yr.old filly in America. She'll likely be favorite for the Breeders Cup Ladies Classic. This is the same Switch that beat Blind Luck in the G2 Hollywood Oaks back in June. I'm just curious if anyone besides myself noticed what happened to Zenyatta when she cornered the final turn in the Lady's Secret yesterday? She crossed over to her left lead to go around the turn just fine. But when she straightened out, she got completely off of her correct lead. She went about 3 strides with both front legs out in front of her at the same time. If you'll watch the replay, Mike Smith immediately corrects this by slapping Zenyatta at the top of her right leg, getting her back in stride on the correct lead. She then ran down Switch with just under a furlong left. Incredible. There's not a horse racing anywhere in the world that Zenyatta can't reach down and grab a gear for to run down. IMO. · 1375 days ago ·

  • mdracing69 · I have always liked Switch. I played her in the Kentucky Oaks Future Wager and am glad to see her performing well in the Graded ranks. As for Blind Luck, note that she was nominated to the Lady's Secret but did not want anything to do with Zenyatta so she skipped town and ran 2nd in Saturday's G2 Cotillion in PA. · 1375 days ago ·
