What the Nation is saying about the Jerome Handicap...

A deep field of promising 3-year-olds will come to the crossroads on Saturday when they compete in the 141st edition of the Grade 2, $150,000 Jerome, the featured race on closing day at Aqueduct Racetrack.   The Jerome, contested at Belmont Park from 1968-2009, returns to Aqueduct and to The Ne...Read More

  • arazi · It's interesting that they make the point of saying this before the Jerome. Is the horse that far behind that they won't consider it? • Medlocke · This was a race I really thought there was no way that Kensei could lose. But when he went to the gas tank in the stretch, all empty. Girolamo easily ran by him and Kensei didn't even have enough left to hold off Burley's Gold for second. I had seen Kensei run a few times this year and he's a big colt that usually runs big. But not this day. · 850 days ago ·
