  • amdaman · I also hope Commanding Curve sneaks into the Kentucky Derby. His comeback race in the Risen Star wasn't a bad one, despite the bad post and a sluggish start. In his last he got pinched at the start, and was in tight at the top of the stretch. With better luck he could've placed. He's been working well at Churchill. He's won at that track, and the Derby would be his third race since the layoff. He'll probably show a bit more speed and lay fifth or sixth. He'd be a nice long shot if he gets in. Maybe not win it, but make the exotics worthwhile. · 79 days ago ·
