  • Mary Z. · You picked a really nice filly in Fascinating, Sullivan. I predict that she wil break her maiden soon after starting in 2014. Maybe you have a better eye for the females. I'll have to check out the Arrow with the bullet. · 190 days ago ·

  • Sullivan · I intentionally picked a variety of skill levels, but Fascinating is a nice filly. Fascinating was a $1.3 million dollar purchase while Gutshot was a @25,000 purchase. Thirteen Arrows is a real nice filly. · 190 days ago ·

Friday’s Del Mar Recap – August 30 (Day 33) Polytrack seemed to play fair and yielded one 5.5f wire job winner. A pair of stalking types captured both turf routes carded (8.5f, 8f). Historically, success in the Sorrento Stakes hasn’t carried over very well to the Del Mar Debutante. The Sorrento-Debutante double has been done only three times in the past 13 years – by Chilukki in 1999, Mi Sueno in 2009 and Executiveprivilege in 2012.Read More

The issue arises every year….which is most important? A win in the Breeders' Cup, or a complete and dominant season? Voters will be asked to make a decision on that very question when voting for Champion Two-Year-Old Filly.Read More

  • rafirox · I have said this before, and I agree with many of you. The award is "Two year old filly of the YEAR." It should not be based on one start, that Beholder won. Beholder started maturing later than EP, but that should not (As Dani Said) be hald against her. No doubt in my mind EP should win it, even if she loses the Starlet. · 579 days ago ·

  • rafirox · BTW, EP still has maturing to do. She continues to drift in the stretch. If she learns to run straight she will be a FANTASTIC horse. · 579 days ago ·

Executiveprivilege, unbeaten and untested in three starts, including victories in the Landaluce and Sorrento Stakes, figures to be a solid favorite Saturday when she heads a field of nine two-year-old fillies in the 62nd running of the Grade I $300,000 Del Mar Debutante. Read More

  • buds · This is a rediculous field if this is a G1 race, then so is the races between the kids in my court. These horses have a combined record of 16 starts and 7 wins. 3 of the 7 wins come from EP. Only 2 stakes wins! What a joke. Heir Kitty and Executive Privilage are the only real G1 material and Hier Kitty is oarderline at that, · 676 days ago ·
