  • tmallios1 · so icy you implicated rosie on another horse. 2 sprint races, where it is paramount you get out of the gate fast and clean.both horses did not have a history of being bad gate horses.yet on bot, a half hour apart. rosie gets left at the gate. as far as rosie winning the oaks. i think a little credit should be given to the filly. she was giant that day.rosie is a good jock. she is a good story ,so people tend to over rate her. she is starting to become a 2nd version of Bejarano. can't break horses in the big races. that is why raffie lost his mount on Game On Dude and many others. that is why baffert should seriously consider her as the jock for midnight lucky. in her last race at a mile. she stood head and shoulders abbove the field. close hatches was not going to beat her at a milee, and katie is nothing more than a good sprinter.regardless if midnight goes in the test or the alabama.if i were him, i would not feel comfortable with her holding the reins · 292 days ago ·

That being said, I have been earnestly doing my gastronomic homework for the next race track trip on the docket. With only a few days until the Iowa Festiv...Read More

Yesterday, I wrote about my pick for the Swaps Stakes, Called to Serve, who has completely turned around his career since being gelded. The major equipment change was plenty enough for me to toss his early races and only look at his last two. Unfortunately, I am not always so fast to come around and...Read More

  • notobsessed · He was very playful in the paddock before the Cornhusker, kept throwing his head around, trying to nip the guy holding his lead and trying to butt him with his hea, he really looked ready to run. I wasn't surprised when he went straight to the lead. · 653 days ago ·

  • MichaelPavelick · Ruffian75, Thanks, I actually uncovered that before your poast. Kind of surprise. Possibly any Baffert horse that comes "rollin into Iowa", gets a lot of respect or Baffert has a steady history of having horses ready for the Iowa derby. One victory in a maiden claimer, and another in an allowance race doesn't deserve those kind of morning line odds. His very respectable move against Comma to the Top, is hard to deny. But that was as a 2 year old & he lost by approx. 9 lengths. · 1025 days ago ·
  • icyhotboo · That pay off was a gift with Baffert's history in Iowa.Didn't need a PP to handicap that except for the other positions. · 1025 days ago ·
