  • amino998 · Would be surprised if this wasn’t Todd’s target for Hierro since he got him. The favorites softening each other up on the front end wouldn’t hurt, either. The question is how much does Johnny All-Star hurt the price?>> Would box Delaunay with a slice, too. · 16 days ago ·

  • terri.zeitz · I'm so glad he's running as a sprinter and he is back as a winner. There is just something about him--he's beautiful like his great-grandam Terlingua and great-great grandsire Secretariat. He surely has the determination of Terlingua. Congrats to the Romans team. · 375 days ago ·

  • johnsnare · What a true racehorse, Shackelford. All heart, guts, stamina, and the burning desire,to win. It is obvious, The secretariat blood flows through Shacks veins. Have loved this horse since his debut. We could learn a lesson from Shack. Never give up. Good for you Mr.Romans, and his connections, for keeping this magnificent horse running. · 374 days ago ·

Adhering to the popular catch phrase “Show me the money” from the 1996 hit film “Jerry Maguire, Bill Spawr will run Breeders’ Cup Sprint champion Amazombie in the $400,000, Grade II Churchill Downs Stakes at seven furlongs on May 5 and not the $125,000 Tiznow Stakes at Hollywood Park on April 28 as ...Read More

As he has done countless times at his home track, Calvin Borel guided his mount to an early lead and never looked back. This time, Borel steered 10-1 chance Atta Boy Roy to a wire-to-wire score in the $250,000 Churchill Downs Stakes (gr. II) May 1 in the slop.Read More
Champion Informed Decision and multiple Grade 1 winner Court Vision are two of many stars among the entrants for five graded stakes on the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (G1) undercard on Saturday at Churchill Downs.Read More
  • medlocke · Informed Decision looked to me like a mare that had a little bit of lay-off rust in losing her first start of 2010 at Keenland in the Vinery Madison Stakes. Informed Decision had been undefeated over synthetic surfaces until her recent 3rd place finish. But she's one of those rare one's that can perform equally well over a conventional dirt surface as well. She won the 09' Human Distaff in the slop at Churchill Downs, if you'll remember. A lot of horses are slow starters after a lay-off. Gio Ponti springs to mind, losing his first start of 2010 at Tampa Bay Downs to Karelian. But came back in his second start to run an amazing Dubai World Cup, finishing 4th, but having to go extremely wide to get that. So it was a very quality run for him. I expect Informed Decision to bounce back with a win on Derby day. IMO. · 1116 days ago ·
