  • Davidm9999 · In the Bourbon I went six deep and still whiffed. Keeneland can be maddening at times. If I would have used your six it would have yields a $6,100 trifecta abd $237 exacta. Sometimes at KEE you have to use a shotgun instead of a laser beam. Keep the articles and selections coming. · 190 days ago ·

  • bband · I wish nothing but the best for Here Comes Frazier. And I don't pretend to be a horse trainer, but after the incident, McPeek was quoted as saying "he had always been in front so he had never been hit with the whip." Maybe this was taken out of context, but you would think that you wouldn't put a whip in a jockey's hand unless you knew what the result would be. Can any trainers answer for me.... wouldn't it be standard practice to use the whip a bit in training just to get the horse used to it? Or is it so obvious that McPeek had to have been talking about the horse never being whipped in a race? · 918 days ago ·
