  • bay_area_backstretch · Thanks Steve, glad you enjoy them.I think the tapeta surface at Golden gate is one of the best around. Horsemen continue to praise it.I think Santa Anita made a wise choice going back to dirt to keep the top horses there since the big events are on dirt. It is quite a bit speed favoring from what i've seen but i think the area had the luxory of having both dirt and synthetic in the same area with Hollywood Park being a cushion track. · 726 days ago ·
