  • amdaman · I also hope Commanding Curve sneaks into the Kentucky Derby. His comeback race in the Risen Star wasn't a bad one, despite the bad post and a sluggish start. In his last he got pinched at the start, and was in tight at the top of the stretch. With better luck he could've placed. He's been working well at Churchill. He's won at that track, and the Derby would be his third race since the layoff. He'll probably show a bit more speed and lay fifth or sixth. He'd be a nice long shot if he gets in. Maybe not win it, but make the exotics worthwhile. · 1 day ago ·

For us die hard flat racing lovers, the return of our beloved racing code has been a long time coming over the cold winter months, but if anything can be established from the last seven days of racing it is most certainly that the flat is back. Counting down the hours until The Guineas!! My Pick Toronado. The horse to watch coimng out of this race is AOB's Mars. He is AOB's Derby horse and is entering the 2000 Guineas off of one open lengths maiden win on the all weather surface at Dundalk.

What is Camelot? Webster defines it as a time, place, or atmosphere of idyllic happiness. Nice. • Mike in SB · The Triple Crown is not a big deal in England, I doubt that Camelot even runs in the St. Leger. This is the problem with having the English Triple Crown races spaced so far apart, by the time the St Legar comes around the 3 year olds are racing against older horses in the big European races. · 687 days ago ·
