What the Nation is saying about the 2009 Vanity Hcp (G1)...

A common question among racing fans today is: Can you make any money betting on Zenyatta and/or Rachel Alexandra today? The answer is tough and ultimately it will be no in most cases.  However, there might be some ways you can pick off a decent exacta or trifecta, but let’s first take a look an...Read More
  • GBeret · No money to be made on either when they keep going off at 1-10 or 1-20. Unless you make the right place or show bet in their races. And yes one of them can be beaten if both's connections would both do a little bending and make sure they finally end up together in a race. This is likely Zenyatta's last year for racing, and I can't imagine Rachael any more on top of her game as a 4 yr. old as she is right now at 3. With the sport hurting so bad for revenue right now, knowing that's the race everyone wants to see, it's got to be this year or not at all. Do they not realize the attendance and cash bonanza a race with both in it would be? Not to mention t.v. ratings going through the roof. So come on Jackson and Moss, man up and make this race happen. · 1403 days ago ·

I was coming out of the track kitchen with some friends after breakfast on a cool, overcast Saturday morning, when we were stopped dead in our tracks by the sight of a magnificent, black horse being ponied out to the track. I don't often recognize a horse on sight, but at that point I immediately ga...Read More
On Saturday, Zenyatta will put her perfect 10-0 record on the line in the $250,000 Vanity Handicap, a race that she won by a half-length a year ago. The sensational 5-year-old mare will likely get her first real test of season in the 1 1/8-mile contest at Hollywood, mainly because she will be forced...Read More

  • jblank001 · If Zenyatta runs like the last, she would not hit the ticket in the Gold Cup. They can try to get her in better shape, with a paid work out in the Milady. Life is Sweet will not hit the ticket, unless there are only 3 in the race. Zenyatta will retire before entering a race she might lose! Another black eye for horse racing. · 1426 days ago ·
