Short field. Still more questions than answers. more impressed with Optimizer at this stage. With a bank of distance races at several venues with multiple jockeys, Optimizer appears to be screaming for more real estate. Lukas needs to settle on a rider and veteran Jon Court can do the job with the colt.
Currency Swap is the favorite in the doubles right now.
This allowance race could have as much importance on the Triple Crown trail as many of the graded stakes. I'm very interested to see how far Currency Swap can carry his speed.
