What the Nation is saying about the 2014 Top Flight (G2)...

Teen Pauline remained perfect on the inner track with another front-running score, this time in the Grade 2, $200,000 Top Flight Handicap on Saturday at Aqueduct Racetrack.Read More
Summer Applause is a scratch after injuring herself in her stall.. "is a little off behind, and don't want to chance running her." Per DRF
Teen Pauline has been on fire but I like Summer Applause off the layoff.

  • johnbarbaro · I am a fan of Teen Pauline but I am almost hesitant to bet her, it seems that he race is always won and lost at the break. We she breaks cleanly and can dictate or sit off the pace she is hard to beat, but too often I've seen her break a step slow and never factor. Maybe she is an improved horse this year. She is coming off a 10+ length win in the slop but I have a hard time putting much stock in a front running victory in the slop, it seems when it rains they pour on the extra lengths sometimes in the slop. I'll go with the other Pletcher horse with Nakatani aboard Royal Lahaina. I think a 1- 1 1/6 fits this horse better than 1 1/8. I also think Centring will be in the Tri, always seems to be in the money · 135 days ago ·

Inner-track revelation Teen Pauline will go in search of her first graded stakes victory and third straight stakes win when she faces a small but salty field of fillies and mares on Saturday at Aqueduct Racetrack in the Grade 2, $200,000 Top Flight Handicap at 1 1/16 miles.Read More
