  • EP Taylor · Benji, and Sully. You two have given me a good laugh. Just getting schooled and don't know when to quit. Maybe if you two read what TV, and Laz are writing you would understand, and also realize they are giving you facts. Did Groupie Doll ever carry the weight of a car on her back? and beat males?...no. • travel_vic · A sustained horse runs fairly even fractions so in putting two horses together with the same final times, one an early/presser and the other a sustained/presser, the early would be out front a good bit of the way as the sustained gained fraction by fraction running their STYLE and beatend lenghts would mean nothing between them · 67 days ago ·

  • JohnNicoletti1 · I would underestimate Candy Boy's distance and pedigree issue'sCandy Ride,Ride The Rails, and Cryptoclearnce, blood lines will allow him to negotiate the Derby distance. He has a Hall of Famer rider,Gary Stevens, who is the master at getting a horse to relax. If he remains healthy and sound, i believe he will be a legitimate contender for the Roses in May. · 64 days ago ·

As we take a look back at the Robert B. Lewis, I feel there is a lot to be excited about moving forward. I may have been a bit too optimistic leading up to the race, as some of the horses that I was high on did disappoint. But, I think there is a pair that we really need to keep our eyes on.Read More

  • striped mentality · I didn't see any sort of signs of distance limitation for chitu. He was moving away from the pack, right with Candy Boy. · 69 days ago ·

  • geldedridgling · The final time is deceptive, in that the 7th and 8th furlongs were the slowest quarter of the race by over a second, as if they took a big breather before the final 1/16. Plus, for a race at Santa Anita, the pace was not that fast. With not a ton of stamina coming from Candy Boy’s dam side, I’ll reserve judgement on him until the Santa Anita Derby. · 69 days ago ·

  • Sully · I'm not really big on Candy Boy. Think he won't get a piece of the money. I don't really like Midnight Hawk's works after the Sham but think he's just too talented to not be in the money. Distance might be an issue for Chitu, but still using him in case that AP Indy blood dominates his DNA. Think Cool Samurai gets the perfect setup to cap off a very big day for the Mosses and Shirreffs. · 69 days ago ·

Baffs did not want to leave the performance for the early bird fans in attendance. Needed to save some gas for the tank.At todays prices, very expensive and difficult to fill it back up.Especially in such short time span. · 70 days ago ·

Candy Boy seems really good but Midnight Hawk scares me. I am liking Cool Samurai, too. Chitu is interesting, but he seems more of the sprint type to me.
