wow the magician, fuge, dank and treve this will be a great race to watch
  • ILuvTurfRacing · And don't forget Mukhadram who was 2nd behind Al Kazeem in last year's renewal and 2nd in this year's Dubai World Cup on his seasonal debut. I expect him to run well in this race again, although if Treve shows up anywhere near her best I think they're all running for 2nd place money, IMO. · 527 days ago
1st-Treve 2nd-Mukhadram 3rd-Dank 4th-The Fugue/Magician?
This year's renewal of the Prince of Wales's Stakes looks very interesting. It's a race that's been dominated by the boys in years past, but this year renewal will have arguably 3 of the best older filly/mares currently racing in Europe in the field in Treve, Dank, & The Fugue. Mukhadram, who was 2nd in the race a year ago and 2nd most recently in the Dubai World Cup is also confirmed, as is the South African challenger Zambucca who finished 3rd in the G2 Al Maktoum Challenge Rd. 2 at Meydan. As of right now, Magician is still cross entered in the G1 Queen Anne Stakes but IMO is more likely for this race since Coolmore also have Verrazano in the Queen Anne mix. The Jim Bolger trained Trading Leather is also cross entered in the Hardwicke Stakes, awaiting Godolphin's decision on if he'll run in the Prince of Wales's Stakes or Hardwicke Stakes? IMO, the fillies look to have the stronger hand among this year's Prince of Wales entries.
  • EP Taylor · I want Trading Leather in the POW'. I like that horse going longer then a mile. I think the POW' is a perfect distance for him, and hoping maybe for good ground · 528 days ago
  • EP Taylor · Have to beat the Madame from France, as she is second race of her long layoff. · 528 days ago
