Should be a good renewal of this race today: Sea The Moon will be taking on Geoffrey Chaucer, Lucky Lion, Wild Chief, Pinzolo and Weltmacht amongst others in what has so far been narrowed down to a 20-runner field.

  • jonquil · It's good to hear that Soumillon likes him - it looked like he really was enjoying himself after the race taking photos with Sea The Moon and giving him a pat. It's long been thought, especially with his tendency to run sideways at the final part of his races that Sea The Moon must be a tricky horse to ride, but I really think Soumillon handled his quirks very well. It seems like no matter what they do Sea The Moon qill always insist on giving up ground to the horses he's racing against -- I'd kind of hoped they'd found a way to keep him from doing that, but it looks like they might just let him have his eccentricities and believe he'll be good enough even with them. · 721 days ago
  • amino998 · Not familiar with the colt, jonquil, but you’ve definitely piqued my interest. Sometimes letting a good one do it his/her own way is the best path. Thanks. · 721 days ago
