Well I got the jockey change and was just beat on Tapiture. But, I was right on Baffert's hyped up Bayern. He was media hyped on his win against no one. California Chrome with a good trip wins the Derby.

  • Jay S. · Well, it's not a killer look like I've seen in some of the top ones, nor was it a scared look. It's more of a calm, wide-eyed awareness of everything going on, but not fearful of anything. I know this probably sounds kinda strange, but I'm still looking for the right words. · 170 days ago
  • Jay S. · I think you're right. The look is based on knowing they are ready. · 170 days ago
hey colin, when are you going to update the submit your picks page? i'm feeling pretty confident about my picks :)

  • travel_vic · recall the statistacal phenomenon REGRESSION to the mean before reading too much into a single performance. ALSO, if the ones prominant that quit show numbers that say 9 frulongs is their upper end, this performance may need to be downgraded as well. · 170 days ago
  • Sullivan · Got to say, I LOVE the idea of putting this shit ^^^ in fortune cookies · 170 days ago

I wanna say Tapiture.. but my money says Ride On Curlin. Conquest Titan by 2 1/2 on a late rally. Borel will secure a saddle for the May Gate.
Somebody knows where i can whacht the derby in internet??
Bayern*** Dang lagging.
  • Exterminator · Meh. I don't like him at all. Feel the same way I did about Cairo Prince, Candy Boy and Social Inclusion. Don't wait until the last minute. And I really don't like how he came to Arkansas to get as far away from Chrome as possible. That won't happen on Derby day. · 172 days ago
What time does this broadcast and what channel?
Ill say Bayner

Absolutely none of the websites (HRN, DRF, BH) have picked Bayern, hopefully the general public follows.

  • tmallios · John,i never look at them as chalk or as longshots. It is all about the value that they present relative to the horses they are running against. I posted on this site that PM when he won his first out was working and prepping in a big manner. Regardless of his being the favorite,it did not deter me. Same here, i have a bit of info on this guy. Do not think for a second that it translates into his running a big race. But i'd rather hear the things that i am hearing than not. · 173 days ago
  • furlonger · Ride on Curlin wins this one. · 173 days ago
Strong Mandate is my pick. Strong Mandate/Tapiture with Commissioner,Conquest Titan, Ride on Curlin is the bet
Bayern will have a Bodemeister type of race!

  • cleclair1994 · Kind of like Ride on Curlin here. Had every reason to back off like Strong Mandate but didnt. Hopefully will rate a little. Might be getting better. · 174 days ago

  • Northport · Like Orb, I'll Have Another, Street Sense, Big Brown, Animal Kingdom, etc. It is a race with 20 horses and one winner, obviously not all of them are going to perform, but the biggest longshot to win in recent memory was still a 2 y/o Canadian Champion who was 2nd and 4th in his stakes preps. · 193 days ago
  • travel_vic · choose the fluke rather than the average....Does not make the point at all but just shows randomness · 193 days ago
