Tough break for James Doyle getting the door slammed in his face aboard United Color because he definitely looked full of run when Doyle made the move and he had to check off the heels of another horse which got him shuffled far back in the field. I take nothing away from Russian Soul's effort, though. I'm constantly praising the heart he shows in his races and he's been steadily improving with every race for sometime now. Even before he came to Dubai. Awfully good effort by Jamsie in 2nd, also. I would think trainer David Marnane will be extatic about a run like that from Jamesie against these types of sprinters in a race of this magnitude.
1st-United Color 2nd-Balmont Mast 3rd-Russian Soul 4th-Jamesie.
