Older Comments about the 2014 Al Rashidiya (G2)...

Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Mike De Kock go 1st & 2nd in the G2 Al Rashidiya, but I doubt it was in the order they expected, as Mujaarib holds off stablemate Mushreq to get the win.
Tasaday should romp!
  • ILuvTurfRacing · Maputo is one of, if not the most progressive horses in this field. His final run in 2013 in the G2 Prix Dollar is a total throw out race for him because he didn't handle the soft ground at Longchamp that day at all. I give Maputo an ever so slight edge over his stablemate Tasaday because he likes the kind of ground he can skip over the top of, which is what he'll certainly get at Meydan. Whereas most of Tasday's best form has come in races in France where's she's had some cut in the ground and been able to dig her toe in. My Al Rashidiya picks: 1st-Maputo 2nd-Tasaday 3rd-Mushreq 4th-Trade Storm/Brendan Brackan? · 883 days ago
