Worth noting that Tom Queally had the choice of riding Wild Coco or Riposte in the Yorkshire Oaks for Lady Cecil and he chose the mount on Wild Coco, passing the mount on Riposte off to Richard Hughes.

  • ILuvTurfRacing · John Gosden mentioned a couple times earlier in the season during interviews with RacingUK that if he and Lord Webber brought The Fugue back to Santa Anita for the Breeders Cup this year they may be more keen at taking on the boys at 12f in the BC Turf this time around. But since the Yorkshire Oaks was one of the "win and your in" challenge races for the BC F&M Turf, and would wipe out the $40,000 supplemental fees, I'm wondering now if they might rethink that and send her back to the F&M Turf instead? Although I think it would be very interesting to see her take on the boys at 12f personally. · 393 days ago
