i like the Rock Hard Ten colt. I will put to place.
I like Vyjack, Verrazano, and Mr. Palmer (in any order). I also liked Freedom Child to hit the board.
looking over some of the rescent winners, the Wood doesnt really look like a great form indicator for the Derby

  • SSilence86 · that is tough. When 2 of my horses face off- usually I tend to favor one slightly more. If I find thats not the case, then I wish for a clean trip and may the best one that day win. · 529 days ago

  • Lisa111 · Yes! You remember that! Clearly Now was on my maiden radar. Great horse. Had high hopes for him along with Heat Press, Carsons Crown and Belvin. · 529 days ago
Here is something to think about. If your goal is to get your horse into the Kentucky Derby then you need enough points to get you in. Verrazano and Vyjack already have enough points and are in the Derby. So why would you enter your horse in another stakes race when you don't need anymore points. The money! I don't think so. I know I wouldn't push my horse to the limit trying to win a race I don't need to win. Who knows, Verrazano and Vyjack might both be looking at this race as a tuneup workout type thing. Just a thought!

  • travel_vic · NONE of these animals can be set out on some pre-ordained "average" work or stakes plan, as they are all INDIVIDUALS and all the great trainers work with them that way...Why is it so hard to understand in horses what is so easy to understand about the special attention a human athlere gets? · 529 days ago
1. Vyjack 2. Normandy Invasion 3. Verrazano
I,m not sure who in the race is really going to challenge Verrazano at the front and really push him. I don't see anyone myself. And if that happens the rest the field can forget about 1st and will be battling for minor awards. Verrazano is a huge horse. The only way he gets beat is if he's pushed and or gets in some traffic and has to slow down and speed up a couple of times. Vyjack is good but I question the distance for him. My pick is Verrazano. Maybe someone out there has a different take on this race!
Win Verrazano Place Elnaawi Show Vyjack 4th Chris and the Capper
Would have liked to see more compete with the two V horses. Can Castellano pull an upset?
1st - Mr. Palmer, 2nd - Vyjack, 3rd - Verrazano, 4th - Elnaawi.

Vyjack!
Stormin' Norman is ready to invade Aqueduct!
I wouldn't be shocked if Elnaawi upsets both Verrazano and Vyjack.

  • Averie Elizabeth · Elnaawi definetly has a great shot. But I agree with jmac500 and would look out for Mr Palmer. He's only improving as the distances get longer. · 532 days ago
  • shackleford · I like Elnaawi has a good shot. I think Vyjack's pedigree catches up with him at 9f, just as his brother Goldencents. · 532 days ago
I like Mr Palmer and always in a tiz

vyjack I think is best -----Verrazano is 2 best. ------ best of all the horse for Ky Derby ORB and will win IT.
  • travel_vic · REMEMBER watch the races there on FRIDAy as it takes a few days to roll the course to make it lightning fast. · 533 days ago
palaice malice was down, so the code west, mylute was almost cought the revolutionery in LA Derby, so my choice for wood is Normandy Invasion followed by verrazano?
i am still optimistic in Normandy Invasion, in his last race he left and did'nt get the proper start, hence he recovered lot of grounds and became closed 5th and it was 1-1/16 miles race, now he will be gatting 1-1/8 miles, it was totally jockey's failure to pilot him properly, i am not counting him down yet?
I'd love to see what Elnaawi does with a clean trip. Troubled twice in the Gotham.
