It's Toronado's Day ... What a great race!
Had Dawn Approach in this one ;/. I didn't think Toronado would beat him :(. At least I had the place wager, too.
Seven will be going to post on Wednesday for the G1 Sussex Stakes at Goodwood in what looks like a great race!! Dawn Appoach & Toronado will be locking horns for the third time this season, and both will face older milers for the first time in their career. What does it say about the depth of the race when the horse that showed a blistering turn of foot to win the G1 Queen Anne Stakes and then stepped up to 10f and ran a blinder for 2nd behind Al Kazeem in the G1 Coral-Eclipse is the third choice on the morning line at odds ranging from 4-1 to 9-2 depending on the bookmaker.

  • jonquil · Yep. And Parbold was a good 3rd. I'm pretty pleased with that. I saw that run and I feel even better about the choices. Can't wait for their 3yo season. · 1223 days ago
