  • travel_vic · No that is the very odd thing about this years group NONE of them have been pushed like they will in a few weeks, BUT one has to recall that energy DISTRIBUTION is all about percentages expended in each fraction not absolute velocities. I am confident that same hall mark that has worked for over 28 years will show up again. · 63 days ago ·

Bob Baffert reached into his very deep 3-year-old pocket and found yet another serious Derby contender in Super Ninety Nine, winner of Monday’s Grade III Southwest Stakes at Oaklawn Park. Read More
99 was challenged by 3 different horses for lead, all speed horse. When challenged Bejarano would give him alittle more reins. They just couldn't keep up. Fear the Kitten is a Dead Closer/Grinder type with no distance limitations, and alot of talent. The two best horses will move on. All the others are servicable and very nice.
With morning line odds of 10-1 in the Southwest Stakes, I'm taking another look at Brown Almighty in his second start on dirt.Read More

Who knows, after a pair of bombs come in this afternoon in graded stakes at Laurel and Oaklawn, today’s holiday may forever be known as Long Shot’s Day. At least that’s my story, and I’m sticking with it. Yes, I like two of them today, and the good news is I don’t expect either Broad Rule or Officer...Read More
