Frankly, I don't mind saying I'm more than a little disappointed at the field that was selected for this year's renewal of the Singapore International Cup. The field could've been a lot deeper and the race much more competitive if horses like The Apache, Await The Dawn, & Trade Storm hadn't been passed over in favor of some overmatched local horses. • ILuvTurfRacing · Flax at 33-1, Deep Pockets at 50-1, Lizarre at 50-1, and Ready To Strike at 40-1, do you think Await The Dawn, The Apache, or Trade Storm would've went off at anywhere near odds that long? Too many quality horses were left out on selection day in this year's renewal. · 431 days ago
I'm not really sure how many of these will actually go to post at Kranji for the SAIC on May 19th? But the entries make this year's renewal look like it has the potential to be a souped up version of this year's G1 Dubai Duty Free at Meydan.
