Ahh, the Oaklawn Handicap. 1986...Turkoman, Gate Dancer. My boy Gate Dancer's last race. So glad I got to see it live. That horse meant SO much to me. Even to this day as I re-watch the 84 & 85 BCCs, I still find myself pulling for him to run on by.
